About Coimisiún na Meán

Established under the Online Safety and Media Regulation Act 2022, Coimisiún na Meán launched in early 2023, replacing and undertaking the functions of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) and overseeing enforcement of the new EU's Digital Services Act. The organisations core responsibilities are to:

Assistant Director - International Affairs, Corporate Division

The successful candidate will work closely with An Coimisiún's colleagues to lead international engagement with the European Commission. Working closely with regulatory counterparts in Digital Platform and Media regulation, they will support the Digital Services Commissioner in the European Board for Digital Services, as well as An Coimisiún's participation in the European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services and the Global Online Safety Regulators Network.
