These roles will play a critical part as the organisation establishes a regulatory framework for online safety and updated regulations for television broadcasting and audiovisual on demand services nationwide.

About Coimisiún na Meán

Established under the Online Safety and Media Regulation Act 2022, Coimisiún na Meán launched in early 2023, replacing and undertaking the functions of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) and overseeing enforcement of the new EU's Digital Services Act.
